These look like cotton candy. Now I want cotton candy. Damn it.
I took this one night, riding my gas scooter around the neighborhood. A quick snap on my phone and some editing later, I came out with this.
I took this at Vasona Lake in individual shots, stitched together in Lightroom. Originally tried making an HDR panorama, but the software didn’t like me today.
I’m sorry for the title. (no, I’m not.)
I like the subtle colors in the sky. It took a lot to pull those from the original, but that’s why we shoot raw, right?
This was a set of 13 exposures, 2 full stops merged in Lightroom. I really like how it came out. The contrast between the blue and orange is really something, isn’t it?
This one was another 2 stop set, and it allowed me to pull the faint wisps of purple from the top of the clouds while preserving the orange in the sky. It looks like the sky is on fire, almost.
